In PR we're advocates.  We have a point of view and a goal of getting others to at least understand it and we can, agree with it.

This means supplying the public with facts, figures, ideas, images and stories that inspire, persuade, affirm or contest, but always with accuracy and honesty.

It does not mean tampering with or manipulating the information available to the public through platforms like Wikipedia, as tempting as it may be to dress up an entry or two in the most flattering way possible.

A growing group of agencies have signed on to a charter affirming the mission of Wikipedia and, to be blunt, play by the rules.

Nice work.
